Extremely durable:  Durability of carpet life is dependent on various factors. Not all carpets offer longevity. To select the most durable, few factors must be kept in mind. Very often, cushioned backed tiles are considered more durable due to its traffic absorbing ability than hard backed tiles.

Flexibility in design:  In terms of design flexibility, carpet tiles offer many types as compared to broadloom. Thanks to innovation in dying technology, it is now possible to produce a wider range of colors, patterns and designs on carpet tiles than other ones.

 As it is obvious that carpet tiles offer durability and flexibility in designs for most of the commercial projects, however, in some places they are not proven to be as effective as hard flooring and broadloom.

Expensive:  A wide gap is found in pricing of carpet tiles and rest of flooring. Usually, carpet tiles are a little more expensive than other types.

Moisture friendly: They are not best suited to places where moisture, mold and mildew are probable to be found.

Visibility of seams: If proper installation of carpet tiles is not carried out, the seams become easily seen and uneven compared to wall to wall carpet rolls.

Non- Uniform appearance: One of the obvious drawbacks of carpet tiles is the lack of repentance in appearance. Even after perfect installation still it is not possible to get the uniform look. It is due to the nature of carpet tiles designing.
